FSW Plot Page
This is a route to informal monthly mean maps (color contoured gif files) for scores of CERES Surface and Atmosphere Radiation Budget (SARB) output parameters.
Maps are available for observed (OBS) fluxes at TOA, untuned fluxes at TOA computed with the Langley Fu-Liou code, the difference of untuned and observed, aerosol forcing (SW and LW at TOA and surface), computed SW convergence from 200 hPa to 500 hPa, etc.
Simply click on either "FM1 Plots" or "FM2 Plots" below, select a month from the list (i.e., the file containing "200101.html" represents January 2001), identify the desired parameter on the subsequent list, and click on the numerical value for ALL, DAY, or NIGHT to produce the map. The maps are the raw means of values from satellite overpass times; they are not true diurnal means.
