The Event

In celebration of Earth Science Week 2005, interested people all around the world were invited to observe and report contrails between 11:00 and 13:00 local time on Oct. 13, 2005. It is not too late to record your observation reports. Contact the GLOBE Help Desk for instructions.

Analysis of the data has begun. Below is a map of the total number of contrails reported. So far, we have no reports from the Southern Hemisphere. map showing the total number of contrails reported from around the world
