Fast Analog to Digital Converters

To convert the analog signals of on-board electro-optical sensors to digital values required for processing, fast analog to digital(A/D) converters will be used. This technology is ultra low power at 10 milliwatts heat dissipation per million signals processed per second(MSPS) and has 13.2 effective bits in a radiation-hardened application specific integrated circuit(ASIC) package. Features include speeds of up to 20 MSPS and a monolithic package with a 0.5 micron Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) feature size.
